Newspapers which have been read. May contain all types of newspapers but must not include "pams" or magazines. Maximum of 5 percent lightly dyed newspapers may be included.
Objectionable materials: 2 percent.
Green Mechanical Listings
Computer listings made from mechanical fibres and tinted green. May be printed or typewritten and contain a mixture of white mechanical listings or printouts but be free from all glues or bindings.
Objectionable materials: none.
Heavily Printed Scanboard
Sheets, offcuts and stampings of folding boxboard which have been heavily printed; must be free from grey middles, laminates and non-water soluble glues.
Objectionable materials: 1 percent.
Mechanical Book Quire
Books printed on mechanical papers coated or uncoated which have not been stitched or bound in any form. Tinted papers should be baled separately from the white paper and sold as separate grades. Maximum of 5 percent coloured print acceptable.

News & Pams
Newspapers and magazines free from latex backed or bound books, periodicals, telephone directories, or plastic laminated covers. The magazine content must not exceed 30 percent of each bale.
Objectionable materials: 2 percent.
Over Issue News
Unsold newspapers free from pins, coated or sized papers, paper containing water retardant chemicals. Maximum of 5 percent lightly dyed newsprint and supplements (provided they are stapled) may be included by agreement with mill.
Objectionable materials: 1 percent.
Over Issue Pams
Over issue periodicals or magazines printed on mechanical coated or uncoated paper, stapled but not bound in a latex glue. Free from plastic laminated or varnished covers. May contain a maximum of 5 percent dyed paper by agreement.

Telephone Quire
Over issue printed mechanical papers for telephone directories which have not been stitched, bound or glued. Free from plastic laminates and grey board covers. Maximum 5 percent pastel shades acceptable.
